With our affiliate partners, we have upgraded water monitoring sensors throughout various governmental swimming pools.
The project has to be done under small installation time window in order to have everything ready for the outdoor swimming pool opening in Spring 2023, which was Mission Accomplished!!
Working in close collaboration with our partner SISMAT and the main contractor, we have successfully designed, manufactured and installed 5 nos. customized penstocks uniquely made to overcome the space constraints issues, whilst offering a higher sealing performance for seawater application with longer maintenance free intervals.
The penstock were entirely made of Stainless Steel 316L with a marine grade Epoxy Coating. With dimensions of 2x3m and 1.25×3.25m, designed to handle a rated pressure of 11m (translating in a hydraulic force of 67 tonnes), those are ones of the heaviest grade penstock installed in Hong Kong.
With our partner Timex and working in collaboration with the main contractor, we designed and provided 16 number of Automatic Backwash Strainer (ABS) with a flow capacity of up to 1,516 L/sec along with logic control cabinets.
Made of Stainless Steel 316L and thermoplastic designed to handle corrosive seawater environment, we tailor made the ABS to minimize the installation work and integrate them with the downstream and upstream equipment in order to have minimal mechanical and civil engineering work.
With our Ecuadorian partner Jarm Quimica and SISMAT, we offered a pilot system for a Water Bottle Recycling Facility facing issues with waste paper and glue (coming from the bottle label) which accumulated into the recycling loop and was causing plugging and sedimentation issue.
Our innovative solution gave full satisfaction and was retained for the future plant upgrades.
